Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. As a key member of our Talking Therapies service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.
As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and self-management interventions. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver evidence-based treatments and support clients in achieving their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-volume low-intensity interventions to clients with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Work closely with the team to deliver evidence-based treatments and support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Undergraduate degree or evidence of previous successful study at Regulated Qualifications Framework Level 6.
- Evidence of working with people who have suffered with a mental health problem.
- Experience of working in Primary Care Services.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of medication used in anxiety and depression and other common mental health problems.
