About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Consultant Psychologist to join our team at Brainkind, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic professional and clinical leadership to the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust through the Clinical Executive.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policy for the service as a whole, ensuring the planning and development of a systematic response to service need.
  • Provide clinical services at a high level of expertise, supporting and advising colleagues on all issues concerned with neuropsychological clinical practice.
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust service across the relevant region.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing highly complex and sensitive information.
  • Experience of working as a consultant or extensive experience working as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in a relevant setting.
