Overview of the Role
As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supported housing settings, working with a diverse and vulnerable clientele. You will collaborate with fellow managers and the Area Manager to lead a dedicated team of support and housing professionals based at the Old Tea Warehouse.
Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing retirement living schemes in various locations, ensuring that our services meet the needs of customers with medium to high support requirements. The focus will be on facilitating successful transitions for those who have faced homelessness and may have complex support needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership to your team, fostering an environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and safety.
- Manage the operational aspects of care and support services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one sessions to support team members in their professional development.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote Riverside as a leading provider in the sector.
- Oversee housing management tasks, including maintenance requests and tenant support services.
About You
We seek an individual who possesses:
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel between service locations.
- Proven experience in managing teams within supported housing, demonstrating a commitment to customer care.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering feedback and collaboration.
- Conflict resolution abilities and a consistent decision-making approach.
- Competence in utilizing IT systems for reporting and data analysis.
