We are working with a Global organisation based in Chelmsford looking for an experienced Inventory Accountant to support their team. Responsibilities include:Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the financial integrity of inventory accounts
  • Processing financial inventory transactions and account reconciliations on a periodic basis
  • Coordinating and executing standard cost accounting processes and updates
  • Supporting physical inventory counts and providing oversight
  • Collaborating with business teams to ensure inventory accounting requirements are met
  • Working closely with purchasing, planning, and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent experience in inventory accounting within manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong Excel skills
