Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team at Teledyne UK Limited. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of inventory accounts, processing financial inventory transactions, and coordinating standard cost accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records
  • Process financial inventory transactions and account reconciliations
  • Coordinate and execute standard cost accounting processes and updates
  • Support physical inventory counts and ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Work closely with business teams to ensure inventory accounting requirements are met
  • Provide oversight to ensure the business operates within financial controls and procedures
  • Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders across all levels and functions of Teledyne-e2v

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of four years of experience in inventory accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong Excel and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and 'can do' approach to work
  • Team player with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
