Position Overview

As we experience rapid growth across the UK, expanding our team to over 100 professionals within a year, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to contribute to our dynamic Head Office team. This role is crucial in ensuring the Finance department operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Overseeing team budgets
  • Entering purchase invoices into our accounting system
  • Administering payroll
  • Managing the accounts inbox
  • Issuing invoices and handling credit control
  • Assisting in the management of the vehicle fleet
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with VAT reconciliations

Candidate Profile

We foster a collaborative and energetic work environment where teamwork is essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently, taking full ownership of their responsibilities. Effective workload management and prioritization skills are critical.

While pursuing AAT Level 2 is preferred, we are willing to support the right candidate in achieving this qualification. A genuine interest in finance and numerical tasks is essential for success in this role.

Desirable Skills

Experience with financial software such as Xero and Sage is advantageous.
