**Job Summary**

CHM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stewardship and Legacies Officer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for ensuring that philanthropic donors feel valued and informed of the impact of their giving.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy to engage and retain major donors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, including those who have indicated that they will be making a bequest to the College in their will
  • Work closely with the development team to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure that donor engagement and stewardship efforts are aligned with the College's overall development strategy

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in an administrative, public-facing role, preferably in a development or fundraising context
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a friendly and empathetic nature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
