The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior People Partner to join our team at Inspired Pet Nutrition. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the People Partner and Leadership Team in implementing people strategies that align with our business objectives.

About the Role:

The Junior People Partner will provide tactical support in day-to-day HR activities, while also contributing to larger strategic HR initiatives. You will work closely with managers to build capability and provide developmental support, coaching, and direction to ensure colleagues perform to expected results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of people strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide developmental support, coaching, and direction to line managers to ensure colleagues perform to expected results.
  • Govern all relevant HR systems to ensure accuracy of information that meets the needs of the business and audit requirements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers, providing expert advice on all stages of the colleague lifecycle and associated policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for HR metrics such as turnover rates, engagement scores, and HR project progress.
  • End-to-end ownership, with the line manager, of disciplinaries, grievances, and absences management.

Requirements:

  • CIPD membership and qualification or time served in HR.
  • Proficient with Microsoft systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven skills and previous experience using HR systems.
  • Proven administrative ability to include prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.
  • Ability to make fair and accurate decisions in line with policies and procedures.
