Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential care settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily routines of young people, including personal care, meals, and activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and resilience of young people
  • Participate in shift work, including sleep-in nights and rotating start times
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people
Requirements:
  • Flexibility and adaptability in your availability
  • Understanding of the issues facing young people in care
  • Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification (or willingness to work towards)
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a small team
  • DBS check at enhanced level (paid for by the company)
