Job Summary

We are seeking a Night Receptionist to join our team at Melia White House Hotel. As a Night Receptionist, you will be responsible for welcoming and checking-in guests in a warm and professional manner, while also ensuring that all security, health and safety regulations are observed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe all security, health and safety regulations
  • Ensure that all guests are welcomed and checked-in into the hotel in a warm, genuine & professional manner
  • Beware of the current hotel availability and propose up-sell and cross-sell whenever it is possible, to maximise room occupancy and hotel revenue
  • Adhere to all hotel credit policies, taking care with payments and seeking support from the departmental leaders when necessary
  • File all new arrival registration cards after updating all the relevant information
  • File all dockets from Restaurant/Bar/Room Service
  • CLOSE all City Ledgers and third party payments for the next day departures
  • Deal with all guest complaints and if necessary seek assistance of a more senior team member
Requirements
  • OPERA knowledge
  • Fluency in English and additional Spanish would be beneficial
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK
