Job Title: Electrician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of plant and equipment.
  • Respond to plant breakdowns and repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Carry out installation work on machinery and electrical services within the factory.
  • Conduct fault finding and repair work on electrical systems, including OHCs, remote handsets, and contactors.
  • Assist in the design and installation of control panels and electrical systems.
  • Perform other general maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance or a relevant qualification.
  • Heavy industrial work experience.
  • Experience of slitting/decoiling machines would be an advantage.

Working Hours:

Flexibility on shift hours is essential, with a 3-shift rota and the opportunity to work with a 2-man team.
