Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Proftech Talent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of special purpose machinery for the metal forming industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a proven track record of identifying and solving complex problems. You will be responsible for proactively responding to preventative and corrective maintenance requirements, working closely with our engineering team to ensure the smooth operation of our machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to production breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Proactively manage independent workload using Maintenance smart phone app
  • Identify and solve root-cause problems to provide long-term solutions
  • Communicate and support customers, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Record all modifications made to equipment to ensure accurate documentation
  • Observe and communicate required improvements on production machinery
  • Complete TPM activities on machinery as required
  • Carry out basic site maintenance tasks to support Machinery installations
  • Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in relevant mechanical, electrical, or maintenance biased qualification
  • Desired - Up to date with latest electrical wiring regulations (Level 1 C&G Minimum)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining industrial equipment
  • Comprehensive understanding of machine functions and degradation
  • Good communicator via email and maintenance applications
  • Ability to use Microsoft, Adobe, and Windows applications with ease
Language and Location:

Fluent English, No specific 2nd languages required for the role. West Bromwich location.
