Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the food manufacturing industry. As a key member of the Maintenance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Manage tools, parts, and materials in the store, adhering to established procedures.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults to restore equipment functionality.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of machinery and equipment on-site.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Team Leader and Manager to complete tasks and meet operational goals.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment, evaluating spare part requirements and planning for future maintenance needs.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
- Experience within the food/fmcg sector.
- Ability to fault-find on PLCs.
