Supply Chain & Manufacturing Expertise

ZS's Supply Chain & Manufacturing group empowers our clients to enhance product availability while minimizing costs (including stock-outs, carrying costs, and operational expenses) through the application of analytics, automation, and process redesign. Our services encompass a wide range of strategies, advanced analytics, planning, and technology to optimize resource deployment (such as inventory and network) while ensuring high customer service levels.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager within our Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) sector to contribute to our operations. This role will primarily focus on a blend of business development and project delivery within the Clinical supply chain sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal SCM leaders and account teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships within SCM functions, managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ensure the quality and relevance of work products to client decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex SCM consulting engagements in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
  • Update senior leadership and prepare and present the majority of client presentations.
  • Manage senior client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for the SCM function.
  • Contribute to the development of SCM intellectual capital for marketing and business development purposes.
  • Provide input into the design of SCM venture assets.
  • Inspire, mentor, and serve as a role model for project team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on Computer Science, MIS, IT, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of experience in management consulting or a similar role.
  • Extensive expertise in Supply Chain planning and management, with a solid understanding of data, technology, and SCM systems.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to deliver complex projects successfully.
  • Skills and motivation necessary for success in business development.
  • Knowledge and experience in priority industries such as Life Sciences, Consumer Products/Retail, Industrial Products, Agribusiness, High Tech, and Travel & Hospitality.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to grasp the big picture while also focusing on details.
  • Fluency in English is required.
