Rhubarb is on the lookout for a talented and innovative Social Media Executive to spearhead our online presence, aiming to boost our brand awareness and audience interaction. The successful candidate will possess a genuine enthusiasm for social media, a keen insight into current trends, and the capability to create captivating content that appeals to our target demographic.

In this position, you will take charge of strategizing, implementing, and assessing social media initiatives across diverse platforms, ensuring that our messaging is engaging, consistent with our brand identity, and in harmony with our broader marketing objectives. Collaboration with our creative team will be essential to generate high-quality visuals and to partner with key influencers in the industry to amplify our brand reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Oversight: Manage and oversee Rhubarb's social media profiles on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Development: Research and formulate a content plan that harnesses the latest trends to craft impactful social media initiatives.
  • Content Production: Create and share engaging posts that encourage audience participation and enhance brand visibility.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with the creative team to ensure timely production of visuals and videos for social media applications.
  • Content Scheduling: Utilize social media management tools to schedule and publish content at optimal engagement times.
  • Community Building: Foster and maintain a community by interacting with followers through meaningful dialogues, addressing comments, and encouraging user engagement.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Engage with industry influencers to bolster brand promotions and broaden our outreach.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track brand mentions, promote user-generated content, and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Platform Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest developments and features of social media platforms to keep Rhubarb's strategy innovative and relevant.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Social Media Executive or comparable role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating previous social media campaigns managed and executed.
  • Outstanding copywriting abilities, with a knack for crafting engaging and brand-aligned content.
  • Experience in social media advertising, including ad creation and management.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing strategies and practices.
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic customer service skills to handle interactions with our audience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
