Bureau Veritas, a leading global inspection company, is seeking a skilled Accounts and HR Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide comprehensive HR support to line managers and employees, ensuring the implementation of legislation, policy, and best practice at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the first point of contact for line managers, providing advice on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary, TUPE, redundancies, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Lead new employee inductions, ensuring a great insight into the business and supporting new employees at the start of their journey.
- Work closely with the HR Business Partner to support performance management, challenging underperformance and offering coaching to line managers on change management.
- Responsible for policies, procedures, and employee topics, focusing on de-risking issues and providing mitigation on behalf of Bureau Veritas.
- Support capability issues within the management population, involved in welfare conversations, and provide Performance Improvement Plan support.
- Act as compliance managers, providing data, supporting cyclical activities, and offering solutions-based support.
- Ensure Success Factors HR Information System data is updated and maintained accurately.
- Actively promote the use of People Docs and consider new ways to digitalize people processes.
- Lead management of casework, including sickness absence, making recommendations, and providing support and advice to managers to reduce sickness levels.
- Assist in the maintenance and development of HR policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in a HR environment, providing generalist HR support, ideally gained within a large, multi-discipline business.
- Experience of coaching and facilitating line managers to develop capability and challenge performance issues.
- Ability to work with managers, using analytical skills and data to develop strategies and support decisions.
- Experience working as part of a wider HR team, including a Shared Services/ Administration function.
- Previous experience using a HRIS and analysis and interpretation of data is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience of applying company policies and procedures.
- Evidence of robust understanding of HR best practice in the areas of performance management.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
- Working knowledge of the full life cycle of the TUPE Process.
- Ability to research, analyze, and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting timeframes.
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays with the option to buy or sell 5 holidays, plus an option to carry over 5 days.
