About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Coaching Mentor. As a key member of our community team, you will play a vital role in delivering money mentoring and coaching to residents, promoting financial resilience and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver partnership activities, workshops, and training events to promote financial resilience and wellbeing amongst residents.
  • Maintain accurate project records and produce detailed project reports to inform Southern Housing's approach to financial inclusion and mental health.
  • Capture learning to share with project stakeholders and contribute to the development of community programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with community members to grow projects and reach isolated individuals.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of issues relating to debt, financial exclusion, and welfare benefit systems.
  • Experience of providing person-centred support and advice, delivering one-to-one and group money mentoring and coaching sessions.
  • Knowledge of deprivation issues faced by residents on the Isle of Wight and experience of working with disadvantaged communities.
  • Direct experience of planning and developing workshops and session plans, with a focus on project management methodologies.
  • Ability to innovate and solve problems, with a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
