In-House Legal Specialist - Command Recruitment

Command Recruitment is seeking a skilled In-House Legal Specialist to support our client, a prominent player in the automotive industry, with their extensive legal needs.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and ready to take on various responsibilities, providing legal support across areas such as employment law, property issues, and customer-related disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal guidance on agreements with suppliers and customers, litigation matters, consumer complaints, and property projects.
  • Oversee civil litigation claims from inception to resolution, including drafting necessary legal documents.
  • Engage with lenders regarding terms and conditions, and address any consumer complaints.
  • Identify legal risks and ensure compliance with internal governance processes.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines related to legal matters.
  • Deliver training sessions on legal topics relevant to the business.
  • Coordinate with external legal service providers as needed.
  • Assist with internal and external reporting requirements, including compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in either in-house or private practice.
  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or consumer law.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts.
  • Litigation experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex information into actionable legal strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for negotiation and influencing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Compensation:

  • Annual Salary: $50,000.00
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week (9 AM - 6 PM with a 1-hour lunch break)
