Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join our team as a Team Leader in our Essex office.

About the Role:

  • Lead the Corporate Commercial team in Essex, advising on high-value, strategically important nationwide and international projects.
  • Manage a varied caseload, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, disposals, joint ventures, incentives and liabilities, shareholder agreements, and general commercial contracts.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, highly ranked by the Legal 500 in Essex, during an exciting period of growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on corporate commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and joint ventures.
  • Manage and lead a team of solicitors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve the team's performance and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of PQE in Corporate Commercial law.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and managing a team of solicitors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
