In-House Legal Specialist - Command Recruitment

Command Recruitment is a prominent player in the automotive industry, seeking to appoint a skilled legal advisor to support its multifaceted operations.

The ideal candidate will be versatile, capable of managing various responsibilities across employment law, property issues, and customer/commercial disputes.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will interact with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal guidance on all matters related to agreements, litigation, consumer complaints, and property projects.
  • Oversee civil litigation claims from inception to resolution, including drafting necessary legal documents.
  • Engage with lenders regarding terms and conditions, as well as addressing consumer complaints.
  • Identify legal risks and ensure compliance with internal governance processes.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines on legal matters.
  • Deliver in-house training sessions on relevant legal topics.
  • Manage relationships with external legal service providers.
  • Assist with internal and external reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in both in-house and private practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or consumer law.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Litigation experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex information into actionable legal strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate confidently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Compensation:

  • Annual Salary: $50,000.00
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week (9 AM - 6 PM with a 1-hour lunch break)
