Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join our client's dynamic team in Essex. As a Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor, you will be responsible for advising on high-value, strategically important nationwide and international projects within a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a busy caseload of corporate commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, disposals, joint ventures, incentives and liabilities, shareholder agreements, and general commercial contracts.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on corporate commercial law, ensuring that their interests are protected and their goals are achieved.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services to clients, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
  • Supervise junior fee earners, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of the corporate commercial team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve the quality of service provided to clients.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of post-qualification experience as a Corporate Commercial Solicitor.
  • Proven track record of managing a busy caseload of corporate commercial matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
