AIG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Regions Property team in the Midlands and South-West. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing risk transfer solutions for mid to large corporate property clients broked in the UK Regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve corporate objectives and deliver exceptional results.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced Underwriters to ensure a high level of underwriting quality and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the team is equipped to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Contribute to the development of AIG's Regional property portfolio in the Midlands and South-West, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Extensive property underwriting experience in the mid to large corporate client segment.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting multinational programmes and facultative reinsurance.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
