Job Summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Equipment Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our account-based team, you will provide support, training, and access to our UK CBRE Full Spectrum Lab services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage laboratory assets, undertaking regular preventative maintenance and calibration, and supporting the Metrology onsite engineering team in accordance with client quality and health and safety processes.
  • Work with a wide range of laboratory equipment, including administrative tasks in the lab space to drive quality and efficiency for the client's scientific staff.
  • Deliver general service engineering to both GxP and non-GxP laboratory assets in accordance with the agreed scope of works, meeting client Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Take ownership of maintaining the data integrity of client systems, ensuring prompt, flexible, customer-focused equipment support while maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and engineering standards.
  • Attend client meetings to review on-going performance, areas for continual improvement, and governance.
  • Undertake Triage of assets in response to reported Work Orders, in accordance with client SLA.
  • Undertake Self-Perform preventative maintenance on assets assigned to CBRE for general lab equipment.
  • Carry out regular asset sweeps and potential re-tagging of equipment.
  • Monitor the performance of scientific equipment and systems using Key Performance Indicators to instigate improvements and influence changes.
  • Raise Purchase Orders, financial reconciliation/invoice and payment queries.
  • Attend regular vendor and customer meetings and supplying work orders status data.
  • Raise and/or follow task-based Risk Assessments/Method Statements (RAMS), COSHH, Manual Handling, and Display Screen Equipment (DSE) ensuring that controls are fully met.
  • Clean up areas on completion of engineering work and maintain the cleanliness of lab equipment and workshops.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the Laboratory/Pharmaceutical sector.
  • PC literate in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience within the GXP/GMP Laboratory/Pharmaceutical/equivalent sector.
  • Sound knowledge of database and document management.
