Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist to join our team at SRG. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for driving and leading projects for external customers, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Utilize project management tools to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Research and Development: Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and present results to clients and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and training to ensure their success.
  • Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating project progress, results, and any challenges that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain laboratory stocks and inventory management systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure all experiments are correctly recorded, and data integrity is maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Education: PhD (or equivalent) in biology, bioengineering, or a related subject, with experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Expertise: Primary cell cultures, qPCR, and organ-on-a-chip or advanced primary cell culture methods.
  • Experience: Mentoring, training, and supporting team members, as well as working on customer-facing projects and liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Background: Experience working in life sciences (biotech, pharma, contract research) with an understanding of working in a regulated environment.
