Arm Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in providing foundational research on the motivations, needs, and behaviors of application developers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of research methodologies and their impact on product design. You will be responsible for planning and conducting user research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies, both remotely and in-person.
You will work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to identify research objectives and prioritize research efforts. Your natural curiosity and adaptability will be required to research a variety of developer platforms and different points in the software stack.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and conduct user research studies to gather insights on developer needs and behaviors.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify research objectives and prioritize research efforts.
- Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to uncover user needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and user flows to effectively communicate research findings.
- Collaborate in the design of prototypes and wireframes based on research insights.
- Contribute to the development of user experience strategies and design recommendations.
- Proven experience as a UX Researcher or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of research methodologies.
- Proficiency in conducting user interviews, usability testing, and other research methods.
- Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods and the ability to triangulate insights from multiple data sources.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles and their application in the context of user-centered product design.
- Excellent analytical skills to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present research findings to diverse audiences.
- Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering Design, Cognitive Psychology, UX Design, or a related field.
