About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist or Osteopath to lead our Musculoskeletal Assessment and Rehabilitation (MARS) team at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing independent, specialist advice and expertise in the assessment and management of patients presenting with MSK conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and expertise in the assessment and management of patients with MSK conditions
  • Supervise and educate other health professionals and physiotherapists
  • Assist in operational and strategic planning, particularly in relation to musculoskeletal outpatient services
  • Support the management of the MARS department
  • Initiate and participate in audit/research projects and support the wider clinical governance programme
  • Supervise and perform the performance management of clinical staff or students

  • UK registered physiotherapist or osteopath with a broad range of musculoskeletal experience
  • Recent experience of leading and managing others would be beneficial
