Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Shift Pattern: 24/7 or Panama shift pattern (12-hour shifts, day and night)

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing a comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and maintenance engineering service to enhance production efficiency and support the ongoing growth of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on production and ancillary equipment, ensuring minimal downtime in alignment with production requirements.
  • Develop and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, maintain accurate maintenance records, and ensure timely data entry.
  • Oversee contractors on-site, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and safe working practices are established prior to work commencement.
  • Respond to engineering assistance requests from production and maintenance teams, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance their understanding and capability regarding equipment.
  • Quickly identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurring failures.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures in line with food quality management systems and retailer-specific technical standards.
  • Actively participate in food safety and health and safety initiatives, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineering, ideally with multi-skilled capabilities.
