About the Role

Your new role as a Senior Ceded RI Technician will be working for a Lloyd's Insurer who pride themselves on being an innovative organisation who put their clients first.

They are an employer of choice and are a leading market name in the Insurance Industry. Due to expansion and growth within their Technical team, a position for a Senior Ceded RI Technician has arisen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing all aspects of reinsurance purchased by the organisation
  • Assisting in the quarterly reinsurance close as per the organisation's procedures manual
  • Authoring claim and premium transactions on relevant systems
  • Supporting the Outwards Reinsurance team on the processing and transaction of complex RI risks
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Senior Ceded RI Technician or Reinsurance Technician from a Broker or Insurer
  • Ability to fully support the reinsurance recoveries manager in all aspects of the organisation's reinsurance processes
  • Ability to teach and instruct fewer senior members of the reinsurance team
  • Working knowledge of all non-marine and marine classes of business
  • Working knowledge of all non-proportional, proportional, and facultative reinsurance processing
