Ceded Reinsurance Specialist

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Ceded Reinsurance Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Ceded Reinsurance Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of treaty reinsurance, including policy setup, administration, and cash calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate ceded reinsurance in 3 operating system tools.
  • Partner with intermediaries to manage sanction-related issues and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Work with the Ceded Re and cross-functional teams to review and improve the sanction review process.
  • Support the Ceded Re transformation journey and participate in projects to drive efficiency.
  • Oversee cash calls and ensure all contractual reporting requirements are met.
  • Work closely with Technical Accounting to support credit control and improve cash flow.
  • Attend regular meetings with Ceded Placement Officers to understand new placements and how ceded can be applied.

Requirements:

  • Experience with multiple lines of business in reinsurance environment.
  • Advanced command of MS Office, particularly Excel, and potential Access.
  • Ability to liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Good collaborator with excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Agility to work on several topics at the same time.
  • Experience working with virtual teams and robust communication skills.
