We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities in the Windsor and Maidenhead area.
Key Responsibilities- Work autonomously, but as part of a team, to help plan the development of the Specialist Occupational Therapy Service in WAM CTPLD.
- Assess, plan, implement, and review Occupational Therapy treatment plans for people with Learning Disabilities.
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence-based/person-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Work alongside the client, the families, paid carers, and professionals involved to create the best agreed and bespoke care for people with Learning Disabilities.
- Provide specialist clinical advice, training, and information to colleagues, carers, and other professionals, including students.
- Identify relevant goals and carry out care plans/outcome measures on each new referral at the beginning, middle, and discharge.
- Maintain accurate client records and an up-to-date CPD.
- Work in a multi-disciplinary way with an array of professionals.
