We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at The Chestnuts Care Home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and improve their well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support residents with medication management and administration
- Escort residents to appointments and activities outside of the home
- Assist with food preparation and serving meals
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community. You will also need to possess good communication skills, patience, and flexibility. An awareness and understanding of high-quality home care is essential, as is an understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support. A flexible working pattern and ability to do shift work are also required.
