About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at The Chestnuts, a residential care home for older people in Aylesbury. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and improve their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support residents with activities and outings, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive person-centred care and support.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community.
  • Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support.
  • Able to work flexibly, including alternate weekend shifts.
