Business Development Representative

The Direct Sales team at Aimee Willow Connex Ltd aims to drive new business growth, identify external opportunities, and maximize in-house cross-selling. The team consists of three key areas: Lead Generation, Deal Closing & Renewals.
Key Responsibilities- Convert sales opportunities provided through the lead generation team and marketing platforms into successful outcomes.
- Generate new sales opportunities through existing data and CRM systems.
- Develop new business relationships with potential clients by offering our products through exceptional customer service.
- Achieve productivity and company budget KPIs set by the organization.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements to provide a client-focused service.
- Adhere to FCA Conduct rules and Core Responsibilities related to the Sales function and the role.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline, ensuring accurate administration on internal systems for fair customer treatment.
- Create and be accountable for all client quotes and proposals, following finance procedures throughout the process.
- Perform the role with a positive and constructive attitude within the team environment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
- Other reasonable requests from your line manager.
- Present potential clients primarily through telephone contact.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- High degree of self-motivation and desire to drive success.
- Demonstrate a commitment to achieving the highest standards.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and influence decisions.
- Previous experience in a high-performing Sales environment, minimum 12-24 months required.
- Previous experience in Financial Services, e.g., insurance, lending, business-to-business, would be advantageous.
- Salesforce experience preferred but not essential.
- Computer literacy.
- Eagerness to learn with a will to succeed.
