HR Advisor Job Description

At HR Inspire, we're seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR consultancy, you'll provide expert advice and guidance to our clients on a wide range of people-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support for employer relations advice, assessing needs and requirements, and escalating to key contacts as necessary.
  • Create employee relation letters for customers based on their specific needs, including disciplinaries, grievances, and management of sickness absence.
  • Support customers with formal meetings, including reviewing meeting notes and advising on process to determine outcomes.
  • Develop bespoke policies, procedures, and people guidelines for a wide range of customers.
  • Conduct exit and return-to-work interviews with employees on behalf of our customers.
  • Support customers with disciplinary/investigation meetings and payroll processing with third-party providers.
  • Collaborate with HR Consultants to create tailored training content meeting customer needs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in ER or HR Advisor roles, with a track record of successfully managing ER matters.
  • Level 5 CIPD qualification or working towards.
  • Experience in HR case management systems and HR platforms, such as BreatheHR/CharlieHR/PeopleHR.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365/Microsoft Teams.
  • An excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Up-to-date understanding of current UK employment legislation.
  • A strong work ethic and focus on delivering exceptional service to customers.
