We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal / Home Care Assistant. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in enabling our client to live a fulfilling and independent life.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support, with a strong focus on building positive relationships and promoting independence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
  • Assist with household chores and maintenance, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Support our client in developing and maintaining their skills and interests, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless care and support, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the client's experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
  • Enhanced DBS check (cost met by employer).

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £12.50.
  • Pension scheme (if eligible).
  • 5.6 weeks' annual leave (pro rata).
  • Full training and support, including First Aid, Makaton, Epilepsy, and Manual Handling.
