We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at KAP Technical Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication and assembly of components and finished goods, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Oversee the fabrication and assembly of components and finished goods, ensuring production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the team, fostering a culture of safety, effective communication, and teamwork.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure team members work efficiently and effectively to meet quality and safety standards (ISO9001).
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure relevant equipment is calibrated and records are maintained, including calibrated tape measure numbers (ISO9001) and testing videos where applicable.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the team follows health and safety rules and understands their responsibilities.
- Training and Development: Train operators on products and processes, and provide product and technical expertise within the team.
- Process Improvement: Encourage team members to suggest improvements to processes and products (ISO9001) and provide feedback to the management team.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001).
- Ability to train and develop team members.
