About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in St Helens Tesco Extra. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring the store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising, handling deliveries, replenishing stock, and price management
  • Start of shift bay checks for pricing, stock gaps, and recovering general standards
  • Replenishment of section, maintaining cleanliness, and good organization
  • Maintaining good communication with colleagues and Line Manager
  • Acknowledging customers in the aisles, making conversation, and encouraging a sale using your knowledge of our products
Requirements
  • Be reliable and dependable, always on time for shifts
  • Be practical and flexible, working independently to unload deliveries
  • Be enthusiastic and self-assured, comfortable approaching and talking to management
  • Be tech-savvy and responsible, using company property as intended
  • Be open and honest, keeping open communication with Line Manager and colleagues
  • Be confident and decisive, communicating clearly and responding quickly to changes
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable, acknowledging and engaging with customers
