Job Title: Social Worker Child Protection

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team at SW Locums, working with children and families in the UK. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and services to vulnerable children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being.

About the Role:
  • Direct work with children, young people, and families, ensuring their voice is central to all case work and recording.
  • Organising your own workload to meet statutory commitments and deliver recognised packages of support.
  • Building purposeful relationships with children and families, demonstrating a high level of skill in evidence-based social work approaches.
  • Undertaking assessments of need and risk, planning for outcomes, and reviewing in line with procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree or higher qualification in Social Work.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Knowledge of the legislative frameworks for child and family social work.
  • Enhanced DBS Issued within the last 12 months or be registered with the DBS Update Service.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Completion of 2 years post-qualified work in the UK or ASYE.
