Job Title: Team Manager

Remedy Social Work is seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our Adolescent Safeguarding Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of social workers in delivering statutory social work services to vulnerable adolescents aged 13 to 18.

Job Purpose:

The Adolescent Safeguarding Team delivers statutory social work services, including assessment, child in need or child protection plans, and court proceedings. We require skilled social workers who can engage with adolescents at risk of extra-familial harm and their parents/carers, as well as wider partners and specialist services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of social workers in delivering statutory social work services
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to engage with adolescents at risk of extra-familial harm
  • Collaborate with parents/carers, wider partners, and specialist services to provide robust responses to families in crisis
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines
