Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Yeovil Hospital. As a key member of our Research Delivery Team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients, collecting data, and ensuring the smooth execution of clinical trials.

Main Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring timely and accurate data collection, and maintaining high-quality patient care.
  • Data Collection: Collect and record data accurately, using electronic data capture systems and adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Study Coordination: Coordinate and manage the logistics of clinical trials, including arranging tests, examinations, and appointments.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders, ensuring open and transparent communication.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to GCP guidelines, study protocols, and NHS policies, maintaining high standards of research integrity.
About the Role

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 1 Registered Nurse qualification, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in critical care, ED, or research.

  • Experience: Proven experience in clinical research, with a strong understanding of GCP guidelines and study protocols.
