Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. This will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the clinical care of patients without supervision, incorporating the standards and philosophy of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and manage patients with a range of conditions, including trauma, adult, and paediatric cases.
Work closely with medical staff to understand patient requirements and organisational needs.
Participate in advanced resuscitation skills and take the lead within the department as required.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing histories of individual patients.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with experience in emergency care, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will be competent in the use of equipment used to monitor and facilitate treatment and care of patients, and have a strong understanding of quality and safety principles.
