Job Title: Management Accountant - Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at ASC Connections. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial processes, including preparing monthly management and year-end accounts, conducting costings, and preparing cash flow forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts and year-end accounts, for review by our Group MD.
  2. Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analyses to support pricing strategies and profitability analysis, ensuring that our business remains competitive in the market.
  3. Cash Flow Management: Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure that our business has sufficient liquidity to meet its financial obligations.
  4. Payroll Administration: Complete payroll for our small team, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met.
  5. Credit Control: Manage our credit control processes, ensuring that all outstanding debts are collected in a timely manner.
  6. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to assist our management team in making informed decisions about the business.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Ideally, you will have experience working within an SME or consultancy, with a strong understanding of financial operations and management accounting principles.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Software: Experience with Xero would be beneficial, but not essential.
