About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Tate. As an integral part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for the internal and external reporting, producing monthly Management Accounts and annual statutory Financial Statements, as well as leading on the year-end audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month End Journals and Reconciliations: Reconcile and prepare month-end journals, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Payroll and Tax Compliance: Reconcile monthly UK Payroll and US Bi-weekly payroll reports, ensuring all relevant employment tax payments are made on time.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis of data to support progress against KPIs, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and post key journals, including accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income.
- Year-End Audit: Lead the year-end audit process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement robust processes and controls to ensure risks are managed, driving efficiencies and streamlining the Month End Close process.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Experience: Strong audit experience and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Skills: Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
