Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client's team in Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for preparing Management Accounts, providing finance support to the Finance Director, and ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an accounts role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be proactive, able to work to deadlines, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Management Accounts and provide financial reports to the Finance Director
- Provide finance support to the Finance Director and other members of the finance team
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements
- Manage the finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and supplier statement reconciliations
- Prepare weekly sales invoicing and monthly payment runs
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the Finance Director and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an accounts role
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
