Job Objectives:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders involved in our projects.
- Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion, aligning with budget requirements.
- Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
- Effectively manage contract changes, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practices.
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
- Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
- Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
- Lead people and commissions as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be an experienced Cost Manager or a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator looking to transition into Cost Management. Key skills and qualifications include:
