Skanska, a prominent player in project development and construction, is on the lookout for Site Engineers to be part of their team for a significant enhancement project. In the role of Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that construction activities are carried out in accordance with the design specifications and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating effective communication among various stakeholders
  • Drafting temporary works design briefs
  • Assisting in the development of the project timeline
  • Resolving conflicts with other site operations
  • Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Environmental regulations

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or HND with relevant vocational training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles
  • Professional Industry Qualification (IEng, CEng, etc.)
  • Proficiency with digital tools
  • Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental management
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Experience with engineering surveying instruments
  • Full UK driving license

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in excavation operations
  • Knowledge of concrete construction
  • Familiarity with structural steelwork
