About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team specializing in forensic mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a team of Occupational Therapists while providing high-quality care to individuals within a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct Occupational Therapy interventions to patients with mental health needs, focusing on their rehabilitation and well-being.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to a team of Occupational Therapists, fostering professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary risk assessments and management plans for patients within the forensic setting.
  • Utilize standardized outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of Occupational Therapy interventions and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven clinical experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, ideally within a forensic setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in supervising registered and non-registered staff.
