About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Marlborough House in Milton Keynes, a 28-bedded male medium secure forensic unit. The unit comprises of 2 wards, an acute assessment ward and also a rehabilitation-focused ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied and complex case load, providing evidence-based occupational therapy that follows client-centred principles.
  • Lead junior/non-registered staff through supervision and appraisal, delegating responsibilities as appropriate.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy service within a designated area/team.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of the trust-wide Occupational Therapy service and local multi-disciplinary team.
  • Engage in teaching/presentations of specialist skills both within the Trust and for continuing professional development events/activities.
