Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of global metals markets, including market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and price forecasting models.
- Present the latest price outlook to our supply chain and procurement clients, providing actionable insights to help them make informed business decisions.
- Lead a team of analysts in developing thought leadership on nonferrous metals, including market research, analysis, and forecasting.
- Respond to clients' research-related questions, providing unbiased and timely insights to support their business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement forecast models, including equation estimation and statistical analysis.
- Create monthly and quarterly reports highlighting the next year's outlook and fundamental drivers of metal prices.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and developing strategic partnerships.
- At least 8-10 years of experience analyzing the global metals market, with a strong understanding of market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and price forecasting models.
- Proven track record of presenting complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to small and large audiences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with experience in statistical modeling and econometric analysis.
- Excellent English speaking and writing capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Customer-focused background, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of supply chain and procurement professionals.
