Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Specialist to join our team at Alan Mitchell. As a key member of our junior team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and advisory services to our clients.
Main Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, including dilution/accretion analysis and enlarged group forecast models
- Prepare and review financial documentation, including term sheets and SPAs
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential buyers and sellers
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including the production of fairness opinions
Private Capital Advisory:
- Source financing for private deals from credit, minority, and growth equity funds
- Develop marketing materials, including teasers and management presentations, and prepare forecast and downside scenario financial models
- Support the structuring and execution of private debt and private equity transactions, including due diligence and deal documentation
- Build and maintain relationships with private capital funders
Equity Capital Markets:
- Work on initial and secondary equity offerings, both on AIM and the Main Market
- Take ownership of drafting process for admission documents and prospectuses
- Develop other corporate finance documentation, including engagement letters and NDAs
- Conduct financial modeling, including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and forecast operating models
Requirements
- Professional qualification (likely the ACA) or 3 years of relevant experience
- Self-starter with good interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and IT literacy skills
- Proficient in PowerPoint
